Pricked For Life

As a regular tattoo collector and a huge fan of The Laughing Cactus, and their succulent products, it was only a matter of time for me until those two interests formed an inseparable bond. Two weeks ago I went down to Black 13 Tattoo Parlor in Nashville, Tennessee where famous tattoo artist, Ryan Thomas and I met for a consultation regarding a new tattoo that I was interested in adding to my collection. We bounced ideas back and forth, and before I knew it, Ryan had drawn a beautiful work of art that I would soon get marked upon my skin forever. The following week I returned to Black 13 for my official appointment date. I was so excited to forge this bond. After only a few hours of pain, my cactus tattoo is now permanently marked on my skin forever. It was well worth it, and I couldn’t be happier with how the tattoo turned out! The wonderful experiences and memories that The Laughing Cactus has brought into my life will be forever represented and displayed on my skin for the world to see. Every time I look down at my leg and see this beautiful tattoo, I smile from ear to ear. When I purchased my first cactus, I never thought it would go beyond being just a plant to display in my window. However, I was very wrong. I have met so many wonderful individuals through my Laughing Cactus purchase. I currently own every model released to date, and I do not plan to stop collecting any time soon. I was even able to save up enough money this year to fly to Bend, Oregon in order to attend the 5th Annual Cacti Convention, which was an absolute blast. Being surrounded by other cacti and succulent enthusiasts reaffirmed how much of an impact The Laughing Cactus has had on my life. They will forever hold a special place in my heart and on my skin.
